Driver allowance — ₹520 per calendar day the car is held, ₹730 for the 17-seater and above. It is his food and lodging, and it appears as its own line on your invoice.

Night running — ₹315 once, not per night, for any driving between 10pm and 6am. An airport pickup at 2am counts; arriving at your hotel at 10.30pm does not.

Tolls and parking — billed at actuals with the receipts attached. The figure quoted up front is an estimate; if the real total comes in lower, you pay the lower one.

Inter-state permit — Tamil Nadu and Karnataka entry is arranged before departure and quoted inside the total. It is never added at the border.

GST — 5% on the whole subtotal, shown separately. There is no service charge, no convenience fee and no peak-hour loading.

COK drop rates — flat, and they include the empty return run to Nedumbassery. Compared against one-way distance they read high; compared against the round trip the car actually makes, they do not.

How do I book a taxi from Cochin airport?

Message us on WhatsApp with your flight number, where you are going and how many of you there are. You get a fixed figure back, usually within the hour. Nothing is paid up front, there is no app to install and no account to create.

How much is a taxi from Cochin airport to Munnar?

From ₹4,707 all in for a Swift Dzire, with tolls and 5% GST already in that figure. Larger vehicles cost more and every one of them is listed on the Munnar route page. It is 115 km and takes about 3½ hours.

What happens if my flight is delayed?

Nothing, and it costs you nothing. We track the flight number you gave us, so the driver arrives when the aircraft does rather than when the schedule said it would. This is the single most common worry people write in with.

Is the price fixed, or does it change at the end of the trip?

Fixed, and agreed in writing on WhatsApp before you travel. The only things that can move it are a route change you ask for on the day, or tolls coming in under the estimate — in which case you pay the lower figure.

Do you charge extra at night?

₹315, once, for any trip that runs between 10pm and 6am. Not per night and not per hour, and it appears as its own line on the invoice. There is no surge pricing at any time of day or year.

What is the driver allowance on the invoice?

₹520 a day for vehicles up to 12 seats, covering the driver's own food and lodging on multi-day trips. It is a cost, not a tip, and you are never asked to buy him meals or find him a room. Any quote that hides it is recovering it somewhere less visible.

Which vehicle do I need?

Two people with cabin bags fit a Dzire. Four with check-in luggage want an Innova. Six or more, or anyone on a five-day circuit, should be in a Crysta or a Winger. Tell us the bag count and we will say which — including when the cheaper one is enough.

Do you give a GST invoice?

On every trip, at 5%. It carries our GSTIN, the vehicle registration and the driver name, and itemises distance, driver allowance, tolls and GST separately. Ask for it at the start of the trip rather than the end.

Can one driver stay with us for the whole trip?

Yes, and that is how we run every multi-day circuit — the same driver and the same vehicle throughout, never a relay of strangers at each hotel. You get his name, his number and the registration on WhatsApp the evening before you start.

How far in advance should I book?

A day is usually enough for an airport transfer. Book weeks out for December and January, for Onam, for the second Saturday of August in Alleppey, and for anything needing the 17-seater or the 26-seat coach — those go first.

Do you cover Tamil Nadu and Karnataka?

Yes. Kanyakumari, Madurai, Ooty and Coorg are regular runs. The inter-state permit is arranged before departure and quoted inside the total — it is never added at the border.

What is included in the fare you quote?

The vehicle, the driver, fuel, the driver allowance for the days the car is held, tolls and parking, and 5% GST. Not included: your hotels, entry tickets and boat fares. There is no service charge and no convenience fee.

Is it cheaper to visit Kerala in the off season?

Accommodation is, by about half — April to September is the off season and a Munnar room that costs ₹18,000 at Christmas commonly costs ₹6,000 in July. Our own fares do not change at all: there is no monsoon surcharge and no peak loading on this site.

Do you drive in the monsoon?

Every week of it. The Cochin airport to Munnar run stretches from 3½ hours to about four hours in heavy rain and the fare stays the same — we leave earlier rather than charge more. If a landslide closes the Neriamangalam road, which happens for a day or two most years, we go via Kothamangalam.
